Inaugural Last Mile ASEAN-conference and expo held at BITEC in Bangkok on 28th and 29th of September 2017.The first-ever Last Mile ASEAN (LMA) attracted 100 delegates and 300 visitors from 16 countries, in addition to 34 speakers and 12 exhibitors.The event was officially opened by Mr.Atty Paul Angelo Santos, President of Philippines Retailers Association, who shared his views on how important Last Mile Fulfillment is especially for offline stores that have ventured into online operationsand by Ms. Kiran Mittal, Managing Director of Manch Exhibitions (Thailand) Co. Ltd.
The region’s leading brands in retail, e-commerce, postal operators, courier & express companies, logistics and fulfillment companies came together, concluding successful debate on current issues and form business relationships on a global scale.In support of the conference, delegates were also able to visit concurrent exhibition area showcasing technology and latest solutions for cross-border e-commerce.
The conference saw a versatile panel of experts, some of the highlights at Last Mile ASEAN were the discussions on megatrends in the ‘Last Mile’ fragment of Supply Chain in ASEAN, last mile delivery challenges in fresh products logistics & exploring ways to mitigate the risk of wastage, block chain, robotics, IoPT: any impact on postal operations, evaluation of current opportunities & challenges in running last mile delivery business in Thailand and analyzing and predicting customer behavior using big data analytics.

Last Mile ASEAN 2018 will take place from 20th to 21st September 2018 at BITEC in Bangkok with an aim to learn about last mile delivery models available in ASEAN.
